About Graham Betts Motors A Proud Automotive History Since 1958 Graham Betts Motors is a family-owned automotive and recreational vehicle business with deep roots in the New England region. Our story goes back to 1958, when New State Motors was established as a Holden dealership, providing customers with vehicle sales, workshop, parts and servicing. More than six decades later, the business has grown into Graham Betts Motors — a multi-brand dealership offering new and used vehicles, Mitsubishi, Can-Am, caravans, motorcycles, Husqvarna, parts, servicing and fleet solutions. While the business has grown, our focus has remained the same: looking after our customers, supporting our local community and providing the products and service people can rely on. Graham Betts — Automotive Since 1978 Graham Betts began his career in the automotive industry in 1978. After gaining valuable experience across the industry, Graham was appointed General Manager of New State Motors in 1996. New State Motors had already been an important part of the local automotive community for many years, having been established in 1958. In 2001, Graham Betts and Bob Todd purchased New State Motors, continuing the business as a Holden dealer and NRMA Roadservice Agent, with vehicle sales, workshop, parts and service. Becoming Graham Betts Motors In 2007, Graham purchased Bob Todd's share of the business, becoming the sole owner. This marked an important chapter in the business and provided the foundation for Graham Betts Motors to continue expanding into new areas of the automotive and recreational vehicle industry. Growing Beyond Automotive In 2004, Graham purchased the Uralla property that would become the home of the caravan business. The business became a Roadstar Caravan dealer, followed by a number of leading caravan brands over the years. Graham Betts Motors was an: Avan dealer from 2007 to 2018 Regal Caravans dealer from 2011 Golf Caravans dealer from 2011 Today, the caravan operation continues to provide customers with new and used caravans, off-road caravans, hybrid caravans and camper trailers. Can-Am — Since 2010 In 2010, Graham Betts Motors became a Can-Am dealer, expanding the business into the recreational and off-road vehicle market. Today, Graham Betts Can-Am offers a range of Can-Am vehicles, including Defender, Maverick, Commander and ATV models, along with Can-Am Spyder and Ryker. Customers can also access parts, accessories, servicing and specialist technical support. Mitsubishi Motors — Since 2015 In 2015, Graham Betts Motors became a Mitsubishi Motors dealer. Mitsubishi continues to be an important part of the business, with new Mitsubishi vehicles, used vehicles, servicing, parts and fleet solutions available to customers throughout the New England and regional NSW. A Family Business Today, Graham Betts Motors remains proudly family owned. Two of Graham's three daughters work in the dealership, continuing the family's involvement in the business and helping shape the next chapter of Graham Betts Motors. For Graham, the business has always been about more than selling vehicles. It's about building relationships that last.
